This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Estimator located in Hartford County, CT. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, assessing project scope, and evaluating materials, labor, and time requirements. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure comprehensive project specifications and budgets are met while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders throughout the estimation process.
- Strong expertise in Construction Estimating, Project Estimation, and Cost Management
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning for construction projects
- Outstanding Communication skills to interact effectively with teams and clients
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools
- Ability to analyze blueprints, technical documents, and project documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in construction estimating, project management, or a similar role is an advantage
