Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships through effective account management strategies.
- Lead generation through cold calling, networking, and marketing efforts to expand the customer base.
- Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits aligned with their needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals utilizing strong analysis skills and persuasive techniques.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer data, and monitor sales pipeline progress.
- Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize coverage and sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketing strategies, product positioning, and technical sales support to meet client requirements.
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue streams.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other networking opportunities to promote company offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and lead generation effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as FieldRoutes or Scorpion for tracking sales activities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills essential for customer engagement and closing deals.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies related to business development and product promotion.
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and conduct analysis for tailored solutions.
- Experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability in cold calling, upselling, and direct sales approaches.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
