General Description:
Metal fabrication and Installation of truck and van equipment. Typical installations include flatbeds, service bodies and van shelving.
Position Expectations:
Add value through quality upfitting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom truck bumpers, headache racks, and custom beds to specifications provided by Production manager
- Reinforce service bodies to receive crane mounts per industry standards.
- Install truck bodies, accessories and 12 volt lighting in allotted time given to complete the job per the instruction on the work order.
- Willingness to work appropriate hours needed to complete the job

- Must be a team player, willing to help other team members and other teams as needed to serve the customer with the highest level of excellence.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in industries associated with truck equipment and or similar industries.
- MIG welding in multiple positions using proper PPE.
- Use of forklift to offload truck beds/bodies and install onto truck frame.
- Knowledge of 12 volt systems to include but not limited to lighting, trailer plugs, truck light accessories etc.
Shop Hours:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM -3:00 PM. Lunch is 1 hour standard.
Education Requirement:
GED, High School and or any trade school degree is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
