Summary Of The Learning & Development Internship
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our HR team at Axogen for the Spring 2026 semester. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance for a dynamic, professional, and hands-on experience. The intern will get a unique look into the benefits of working within a smaller biomedical company, with high visibility within the company. This intern will be focused on Learning & Development, supporting Axogen's LMS and instructional design projects. This internship will be based out of our Tampa HQ and will be hybrid, depending on the student's schedule. Our in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with remote flexibility on Wednesday and Friday each week.

Compensation
The anticipated base wage for this position is $18/hr for an undergrad student and $20/hr for a grad student. In addition to the base hourly rate, there may be a housing stipend available based on location. Interns who are 21 years of age or older are eligible for 401K.

Requirements Of The Learning & Development Internship
- Enrolled in a Human Resources/Learning & Development undergraduate or graduate program; or in a similar field of study
- Interested in a possible career in learning and development
- Able to commit to at least 15 hours per week during normal business hours, Monday through Friday; specific days/hours will be based on the student’s class load and schedule
- Able to pass a drug screening
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Good organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills, use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and basic data analysis
- Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- New eLearning course design using Articulate software
- Promotion and adoption of LMS features
- Facilitation of team discussions
- Organize data sources for repeatable metric analysis
- HR department collaboration
