Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Public Accountant role based in Indianapolis, IN. The CPA will prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity for small business clients. Responsibilities include tax preparation and planning, maintaining accounting records, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The role will involve advising clients on financial performance, cash flow management, and compliance matters, as well as collaborating with the advisory team to support fractional CFO engagements and financial projections. The CPA will also help implement accounting best practices, identify process improvements, and communicate complex financial information in a clear, accessible manner.
Qualifications
- Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including a solid understanding of GAAP and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Experience with Tax Preparation and planning for small businesses or closely held entities.
- Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or CPA eligibility with a clear path to licensure.
