We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles.
- Conduct repairs on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, with a focus on service technician experience.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, alignment, and ADAS.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and performing automotive diagnostics.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Experience with auto estimating for parts and labor is beneficial.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
