We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to support the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our Illinois manufacturing facilities (Bartlett and Addison). This role plays a key part in ensuring building systems, vendor services, and safety programs operate efficiently to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Schedule and supervise contractors and vendors for facility-related services.
- Monitor and manage janitorial, waste management, landscaping, and security services.
Health & Safety:
- Support implementation of safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans.
- Conduct routine inspections and coordinate corrective actions for any facility-related safety hazards.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, local building codes, and environmental regulations.
Asset Management & Procurement:
- Maintain facility-related inventory including tools, supplies, and maintenance records.
- Manage work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Assist in procurement of facility-related goods and services while monitoring budgets and costs.
Communication & Reporting:
- Act as a liaison between facility contractors and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.
- Provide regular reports on facility status, project updates, and maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in facilities coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
- Proficient with facilities management software (e.g., CMMS), Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily on-site at our manufacturing facility but will also involve travel to and coordination in our regional locations.
Pay: $70, $85,000.00 per year
