What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer for Lathe 1st shift position at Axis Technologies, Inc.?
Axis Technologies is now accepting new applicants for CNC Lathe Programmers for the 1st shift. We are a well-established machine shop looking to fill set-up position in our Lathe department. We manufacture high quality, close tolerance parts for a wide range of industries.
Compensation is based on your experience/abilities.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Efficiently set-up, operate and program CNC lathe machines in a fast-paced manufacturing shop environment to meet the customer needs. Completion of documentation (job travelers, operator check sheets, inspection reports, etc.).
Ensure proper inspection of first piece and in-processes inspection are performed and made adjustments as required.
Assist other employees when needed to achieve company manufacturing goals.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision but know when to ask for assistance.
Good communication skills and working as a team are a must.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must be able to read and understand prints
- Must be able to utilize various measuring tools
- 3-5 years' experience in a setup/programmer position with a CNC lathe machine
- Use Mastercam software
Ideal candidate may have previously worked as CNC Machinist, CNC Programmer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
