Axis Logistics Group is hiring licensed Security Officers for part-time evening and late-night shifts at nightlife venues in St Petersburg, FL. We’re looking for professional, dependable candidates who can provide a confident security presence, support guest safety, and communicate clearly with staff and guests.
Position Overview
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour; final rate based on experience and qualifications
- Location: In person, St Petersburg, FL 33712
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and some Sunday shifts to start
- Typical shifts: 7:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m. or 10:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible, professional security presence at a nightlife venue.
- Help maintain a safe, orderly environment for guests and staff.
- Support access control, crowd awareness, and venue safety expectations.
- Use calm communication and sound judgment when addressing concerns.
- Report incidents according to company procedures.
Requirements
- Current Florida Class “D” Security Officer License required.
- Reliable transportation to St Petersburg, FL 33712.
- English language proficiency required for workplace communication and safety procedures.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, sound judgment, and strong communication skills.
- Strong presence, confidence, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to stand, walk, monitor assigned areas, and perform essential duties throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
