Role Description This is a full-time, remote Business Development Manager role based in the U.S.
The Business Development Manager will identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across robotics, industrial automation, and AI-driven sectors. Day-to-day work includes building and managing a pipeline of prospects, leading discovery calls and product demos, and collaborating with technical teams to tailor solutions that address customer needs. The role involves developing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and closing strategic deals that drive commercializaitons. The individual will also conduct market research, track competitive trends, represent the company at industry events, and provide feedback to product and leadership teams to inform roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in technology, robotics, AI, or related B2B markets.
- Strong skills in opportunity identification, pipeline management, and deal execution, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts related to AI, simulation, and robotics in clear, business-focused language.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with experience leading customer meetings and executive-level discussions.
- Comfort working closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to shape solutions, refine messaging, and support go-to-market initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with skills in market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Self-directed, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
- Prior experience in robotics, simulation platforms, cloud infrastructure, or AI startups is highly beneficial.
