Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time clerical assistant. This position involves working 5 days a week for 4 to 5 hours each day. The primary responsibilities include switchboard services for multiple clients, timecard/data entry and providing limited assistance with credit and collections.
We are seeking to fill both part-time and full-time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing calls for multiple clients
- Daily timecard/data entry for multiple clients
- Maintain/manage electronic files and records
- Sorting and processing daily incoming and outgoing mail
- Using office equipment to check emails, make copies, and update computer databases.
- Sorting, filing, and maintaining filing systems for efficient recordkeeping and easy retrieval.
- Completing assignments and projects according to instructions from supervisors.
Skills Required:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent phone skills and strong telephone etiquette.
- Professional qualities, including discretion, professionalism, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge Required:
- Basic knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with office equipment, for printing and scanning purposes
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
