Network Engineer (S0413)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Network Engineer who will be involved with the following activities:

Maintain servers on network

Maintain/Configure HyperV Virtual Servers

Maintain/monitor network connectivity and traffic

Maintain Cisco routers

Maintenance of video surveillance

Interface Qwest/CTN

Assist with Support Calls

Assist with ShoreTel phone system

Research new technologies

Configure maintain VM/HyperV/Virtual environments

Document Network topology

Help develop/maintain disaster recovery plans

Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Minimum five years’ experience in an IT professional position, including:
• Extensive experience with Network Configuration and Network Hardware
• Working knowledge of Network technologies and protocols
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Domain Controllers and Microsoft Exchange
• Other administrative computing systems
  
  

Salary: Starting salary is $82,472 and ranges up to $87,110 (Which includes a $2.50 Locale differential) and considers preferred experience and preferred education described above.

Physical demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move 15 pounds up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between AHS locations. Possible potential exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. AHS may make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Knowledge of basic mathematics and bookkeeping skills sufficient provide accurate data for reporting
• Ability to absorb and understand complicated operations of agency to ensure that systems are designed appropriately
• Ability to concentrate in a hectic and sometimes stressful setting
• Must have current driver’s license and ability to be commercially insured and maintain a driving record that allows insurability with AHS commercial insurance agency.
• Must have remote capabilities to trouble shoot and support
  
  

Additional eligibility requirements: Annual Flu immunization, Annual TB screening, CPI training within 90 days of hire, BLS PRO certification required within 90 days of hire
