About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition assessment, counseling, and education to patients in a clinical outpatient setting. This role works collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to support patient health, disease management, and preventive care through individualized nutrition plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and document findings in the medical record
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on evidence-based guidelines
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families
- Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff as part of the healthcare team
- Support preventive care, chronic disease management, and lifestyle modification programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Stay current with continuing education and professional standards
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) license in the state of New Jersey
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- 1–3 years of clinical or outpatient nutrition experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment
- Experience with EMR systems and basic computer skills

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
