About the Position & Schedule
As the Front Desk Associate, you are the crucial first impression for our patients. You will be responsible for greeting each individual kindly and courteously, ensuring their visit starts seamlessly. This is a part-time position that requires:
- Saturday availability (mandatory)
- One later evening shift per week
- Consistent part-time hours across other scheduled weekdays
About the Practice & Team
Axis Eye Care is a new high-end optometric practice in Hendersonville. You will be joining a fantastic, highly efficient small team. We treat a diverse community of patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between. We thrive on the positive experience each patient has; from the moment they first walk through our door, to the time they spend in the exam chair, to checking out.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greeting patients and customers, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
- Insurance Coordination: Verifying insurance plans and submitting insurance claims.
- Administration: Executing accurate data entry and utilizing windows and EHR software daily.
- Office Maintenance: Stocking, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements & Compensation
- Strong computer skills are a must.
- Professional references are required upon application.
- Compensation: Hourly wage plus monthly bonuses.
