What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Relations Specialist position at AXIS CLINICALS LLC?
The Community Relations Specialist will be responsible for the planning and executing of a variety of community-engagement focused projects to enhance the relationship between Axis and our involvement in surrounding community events. The Community Relations Specialist will report to the Associate Director of Volunteer Recruitment and will work closely together on scheduling and budgeting events and opportunities. This role is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of community relations events, communications, and special activities including vendor events, networking opportunities, business engagement meetings, presentations, employee engagement, nonprofit sponsorships, and supports additional opportunities delegated by Human Resources and other departments as needed. This also includes maintaining Axis social media platforms, logo branding standardization and guidelines, and creating graphic design.
This will be a hybrid role sharing responsibilities and job duties with traditional recruiting role as needed.
- Responsible for planning and attending community engagement activities, special events, and initiatives. This includes but is not limited to any print materials, marketing displays, promotional items, booth supplies, speaking/presenting opportunities, etc. to enhance Axis visibility in our community.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with base and community agencies, including applicable professional organization memberships and participating in related activities
- Seeks out regular events for Axis to attend and be present at in the community throughout the calendar year to promote upcoming studies, volunteer enrollment, hiring, and business development goals
- Familiar with an up-to-date with community calendar of events and opportunities appropriate to recruiting participants and building community awareness
- Analyze response data to determine which events and engagement techniques are succeeding and which new opportunities are available. Will set goals and discuss response records on projects.
- Coordinates visitor visits to Axis site for room assignments and hospitality as needed
- Maintains social media platforms and digital images to support initiatives
- Create cohesive, consistent, and clear graphic design templates to support business development, marketing, recruiting, and other department initiatives that support and correspond with company programs
- Responsible for maintaining Axis industry-standard branding guidelines
- Collaborate with departments for overall brand message and communication
- Professionally represent Axis at all events and engagement opportunities
- Execute other duties as assigned.
