Mid Level Project Architect

Axis Architects is seeking a Mid Level Project Architect to join our team! We are looking for a creative, motivated, and organized team member who has a passion for architecture and the built environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging professional to be involved in all aspects of the architectural process and work with a multi-disciplined team on a wide variety of projects. Responsibilities:

·       Be part of a team-centric environment where you will work collaboratively with your team to develop projects from concept design through construction administration

·       Work efficiently to meet project milestones and deadlines

·       Produce design drawings and construction documents

·       Prepare presentation graphics and materials

·       Participate in client meetings and design presentations

·       Travel to project sites to measure and sketch existing conditions

Qualifications:

·       A professional degree in architecture from an accredited program

·       3 years minimum of work experience at an architectural firm specialized in residential projects (multifamily or single family)

·       Basic understanding of architectural design and construction fundamentals

·       Technical proficiency utilizing Revit for working drawings

·       Experience in developing 3D conceptual models using SketchUp

·       Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite

·       Strong communication and graphic skills

·       Ability to problem solve, have attention to detail, and be motivated to learn

·       Collaborative and team-conscious work ethic

·       Ability to work safely while field measuring existing homes and on construction sites
