What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at Axis Aerospace, Corp.?
We are seeking candidates to join our energetic team who is dependently and team orientated. We are seeking a safety oriented, dependable and dedicated candidate with the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet strict deadlines. Successful candidates will have the ability to set up and operate press brake to assemble metal by shaping, locking, staking, or press fitting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate manual and hydraulic press brakes.
- Installs specified dies on machine bed.
- Positions and clamps holding fixtures to machine bed.
- Review prints and drawings thoroughly; self-check dimensions and tolerances.
- Aligns parts between dies or positions them against fixtures on machine.
- Performs sets ups and bend sequences of machine.
- Arranges workflow for minimal set-up times.
- Signs in and out of work order for each job.
- Other duties as assigned.

Work activities involve combinations of walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and carrying and standing for extended periods and performing some very repetitive activities.
