Project Material Handler

Reports To: Site Lead

Who we are:

AXion Logistics is a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider with a focus on the petrochemical industry. We have worked to develop strong relationships with the Petrochemical Industry and the supporting Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) companies; Integrated Material Suppliers; and General Mechanical providers. AXion has proven, effective processes and technologies. We have the experience and understanding required to efficiently manage routine Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO) materials, order spares, manage inbound delivery and receipt, provide preservation and maintenance services, and the dispositioning of surplus or obsolete material and equipment.

Position Purpose:

The AXion Project Material Handler's primary objective is to support the team during transition.

Duties & Responsibilities:

AXion's Project Material Handler will:

• Audit incoming/outgoing BOL/Packing slips
• Process Pick Tickets for good issue
• Reconcile received versus ordered goods
• Enter GR transactions in warehouse management system
• Correctly stage/store materials in location
• Maintain accurate inventory levels
• Accurate processing of documents (BOLS, packing lists, etc)
• Obtain PODs from suppliers
• Stock materials in proper bin/location
• Conducts inspection of/operate vehicles/forklifts
• Identify and report operational issues
• Perform kitting/marshalling duties
• Load/Unload trucks utilizing forklifts

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Some knowledge of materials used in fittings
• Industrial experience required
• Effective interpersonal and team building skills
• Capable of delivering results and meeting aggressive timelines
• Strong problem-solving and implementation planning skills
• Forklift experience required
• General SAP knowledge required

Job Types: Temporary, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
