Axiom is seeking a dependable and customer-focused SK TES AM Driver/Vending Technician for a contract-to-hire role based in Ontario, CA. This position involves IT asset collection, vending machine replenishment and installation, IT equipment moves, inventory tracking, and delivery services using company vehicles ranging from cargo vans to 26-foot box trucks
- Location:
- Ontario, CA - 100% on site
- Schedule:
- 6:00 am – 2:30 pm local time
- 2 paid 15 min breaks
- Unpaid 30 min lunch
- Monday-Friday on site (no work from home)
- Pay Rate:
- $23-25/HR
- Interview Process:
- First phase view interview with hiring manager
- Second Phase tbd (if needed)
- Notes:
- Resources must be able to pass both background and drug tests including marijuana
- Resource will be paid in US Dollars
- Position Overview:
- As a driver you will provide IT vending route replenishment, IT Moves and ITAD collection services at our client’s site.
- A motivated self-starter who is friendly and engaging with customers and co-workers alike to promote a company that provides a multitude of services providing a unique service delivery structure across a range of product sets in the IT, AV environment.
- To be successful this driver will be working in a quick paced environment and demonstrate a willingness to accept and drive innovation and process improvements. This driver will take direction from on-site lead and should feel comfortable working alone or in a team environment.
- Day to Day Activities:
- Collections
- Collect ITAD from client’s campus
- Sort, and prepare recycle for delivery to client IT room, warehouse or downstream partner
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Vending Route Replenishment
- Restock items in vending machine
- Collect and track inventory levels
- Install vending machines
- IT Moves
- Deliver equipment to requested location
- Install or remove IT equipment
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation.
- Adhere to business guidelines, company policies and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
- Drive a company vehicle to perform pick-up/delivery service for customer on an as needed basis ranging from a cargo van to a 26’ box truck
- Must be able to work with manual and powered material handling equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year customer service-related experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of using Microsoft Outlook required
- Working knowledge using Microsoft Windows required
- Working knowledge using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required
- Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills
- Ability to effectively work individually or within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
- Willingness to cross-train for other job functions
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday and be available for overtime and weekends as needed
- Must have valid driver's license and clean DMV record.
- Must meet and maintain the TES Motor Vehicle Requirements, to be audited annually
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required
- Must be able to pass Drug Test
- Lift up to 70 lbs. throughout the day or the maximum required by state law
- Sit and/or stand for long periods of time in one place
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, push/pull a mail cart with up to 400 lbs. capacity
- Using computer for time and data entry'
- For new hires, must meet all TES employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful passing of background check
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Box Truck Driving experience preferred
