How You Will Make An Impact
- Provide statistical programming support for Medical Affairs analyses, publications, abstracts, scientific meetings, and internal requests.
- Produce and validate tables, figures, listings, and other statistical reporting outputs.
- Pick up existing SAS programs developed by other programmers, quickly understand their structure and logic, and accurately adapt them for new requests.
- Develop parallel or related analyses by modifying established programming approaches and reusable code.
- Use both SAS and R to support analytical and reporting deliverables.
- Perform ad hoc and post hoc analyses with short turnaround expectations.
- Maintain exceptionally high programming and QC standards across deliverables.
- Work independently while collaborating closely with statistical programming colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support other statistical programming groups when workload demands shift across the organization.
- Manage multiple requests while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Are you an experienced statistical programmer ready to make an impact in Medical Affairs reporting?
- At least 3 years of relevant statistical programming experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a related clinical research environment; candidates with 5 years are strongly aligned.
- Advanced hands-on SAS programming skills.
- Strong hands-on R programming experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and modify programming originally written by other programmers.
- Strong experience developing or validating tables, figures, listings, and other statistical reporting outputs.
- Experience supporting ad hoc, post hoc, publication, abstract, or scientific reporting analyses is highly valuable.
- Familiarity with CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot code and deliver high-quality programming with minimal oversight.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to programming quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team while managing shifting priorities and short timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
