Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver high-quality therapy services that enhance mobility, strength, and functional independence. Your efforts will help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT.
- Provide skilled therapy interventions to enhance mobility and function.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with modifying care plans based on patient response.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and home programs.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with facility and regulatory documentation standards.
- Active Kansas Physical Therapist Assistant license
- In good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus
