We are currently seeking dedicated CMA team members at Marion Assisted Living for multiple shifts (FT/PT/PRN, Day and Night Shifts) who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
Position Summary
As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Marion Assisted Living, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while safely administering medications and promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. The CMA at Marion Assisted Living plays a vital role in supporting residents’ daily needs and enhancing their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed in accordance with state regulations and Marion Assisted Living policies
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and dining assistance
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at Marion Assisted Living
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state
- Previous CMA experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail, especially in medication administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including day and night shifts
