Derby Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team on 2nd Shift. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Position Details

Responsibilities
As a CMA, you will:
- Administer medications as prescribed and according to facility policies and state regulations.
- Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions.
- Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other team members.
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity and independence.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Current CMA certification in good standing.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred but not required.
