Licensed Unarmed Security Guard
We are a fast-growing security agency seeking licensed, dependable, and professional Unarmed Security Guards to join our team.
This is not a “show up and pass time” position. We are looking for responsible individuals who take security seriously, communicate clearly, and can be trusted to represent the company with professionalism.
Applicants must already be properly licensed/certified to work as security guards.
We are building a reliable roster for multiple types of assignments, including full-time posts, part-time shifts, scheduled coverage, and short-notice emergency coverage. Some opportunities may involve night shifts, weekend shifts, or urgent assignments offered with limited advance notice.
Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to assigned sites, including employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and vehicles.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including entrances, exits, parking areas, exterior areas, and interior spaces.
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, policy violations, or unusual incidents.
Use CCTV, access control systems, radios, logs, and other security tools when required.
Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, or requests for assistance.
Prepare accurate shift reports, incident reports, and activity logs.
Maintain a visible, professional security presence to deter theft, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and other risks.
Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.
Follow all company policies, post orders, and legal requirements.
Requirements
Must be currently licensed/certified as a security guard.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Must have strong judgment and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
Must be willing to work assigned posts with seriousness and attention to detail.
Must be able to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert during the shift.
Prior security, law enforcement, military, corrections, or loss prevention experience is preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
