We are actively seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers for a contract opportunity with a leading organization developing advanced robotic unmanned vehicle systems. This role offers the chance to work on innovative technologies involving robotics, automation, heavy equipment, hydraulics, and complex mechanical systems.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Research and evaluate design proposals, specifications, and technical requirements
• Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems for robotic platforms
• Create detailed designs using SolidWorks, Pro-E, or CATIA
• Perform FEA analysis, stress calculations, and engineering validations
• Participate in design reviews and maintain engineering documentation
• Support fabrication, installation, testing, maintenance, and system optimization
• Evaluate field installations and recommend design improvements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems
🔹 Required Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
✔ 5–7 years of mechanical engineering experience
✔ 5–7 years of product and machine design experience
✔ Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, Pro-E, CATIA, and CAD design tools
✔ Experience with FEA, GD&T, FMEA, and stress analysis
✔ Proficiency with Matlab, Mathcad, or similar engineering tools
✔ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
✔ Experience working with hydraulics, motors, gearing systems, and heavy equipment
✔ Basic software development knowledge preferred
✔ Familiarity with patent processes is a plus
