Duties
- Manage inventory control by accurately stocking shelves, organizing products, and maintaining proper product placement using RF scanners and warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against purchase orders.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and ensuring displays are tidy and inviting.
- Perform regular cleaning duties in the storage areas, aisles, and customer-facing sections to uphold safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product locations, answering questions, and offering a friendly shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members across departments such as stocking, packaging, cashiering, and retail sales to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or retail store background preferred; familiarity with grocery stores is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and stock accuracy.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners; certification is advantageous.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly valued for effective communication with diverse customers and team members.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational abilities to coordinate stocking schedules and maintain inventory records.
