Summary
We are seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team at Family Health and Rehab. In this role, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
- Conduct physical examinations and manage medical documentation accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Provide airway management and catheterization as needed.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness.

Requirements
- License Practical (LPN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Proven experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation environment preferred.
- Strong skills in medical documentation and use of eClinicalWorks software.
- Ability to perform physical examinations
- Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in hospice care or assisted living is a plus.
