Dietary Cook/Aide (51799)

Part-Time position 3:30-7:30pm (20-30 hours per week)

Full-time position 5:30AM - 1:30PM (30-40 hours per week)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of dietary needs, ensuring that all meals are prepared with the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is essential in providing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to our clients' specific dietary requirements.

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Plan menus that meet nutritional standards while considering client preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to create innovative meal options that enhance the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service in a fine dining setting.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within fine dining or food service environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Experience in menu planning and food preparation for various dietary needs.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
