Experience

- Lead and manage the food service team to ensure efficient operations, high-quality meal preparation, and exceptional resident satisfaction.
- Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and health code compliance.
- Oversee dietary department functions including menu planning, inventory control, and budget management to optimize resources and minimize waste.
- Conduct patient assessments related to nutrition needs, including tube feeding protocols and diagnostic evaluations for individualized care plans.
- Ensure all food service activities comply with health regulation policies and safety standards across the facility.
- Train and develope staff to provide world class service at meals
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation of dietary interventions, patient progress, and care coordination.
- Provide leadership in managing food safety management practices while fostering a team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Prepare monthly schedule to ensure adequate staffing for cooks and dietary aides
