Registered Nurse (RN) IV Infusion Nurse

Full Job Description

Axiom Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong IV infusion skills to serve as the corporate lead for our in-house IV therapy program. This role will collaborate closely with our skilled nursing facilities to establish, administer, oversee, and optimize IV therapy services, ensuring high-quality care, efficient, and compliant care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the corporate subject matter expert on IV therapy and infusion practices.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and nursing teams to design, implement, and maintain in-house IV therapy programs.
• Provide hands-on IV administration, support and training to facility nurses in IV insertion, maintenance, and infusion best practices.
• Monitor program compliance with federal, state, and facility-level policies and regulations.
• Assist in the selection, procurement, and standardization of IV-related supplies and equipment.
• Evaluate facility performance in IV therapy delivery, providing coaching and corrective action plans where necessary.
• Travel to facilities as needed to support training, audits, and program rollout.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven proficiency and confidence in IV insertion, maintenance, and infusion therapy.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years involving IV therapy in acute care, long-term care, or similar settings.
• Strong leadership and training abilities; experience influencing teams across multiple sites preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel to facilities as required.
