About The Role

As part of the Quality Control team, the Quality Control (QC) Supervisor will be supervising with quality control repairs to meet the timelines of finishing schedule. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding and training of the finishing schedule and sequence for a high-rise construction project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the subcontractors and Axiom Builder's quality control team to adhere to deliver interior suite and common areas finished with minimal to no deficiencies;
• Coordinate and communicate deficiencies with subcontractors and ensure timely completion of deficient work;
• Identify, document, and close out deficient work items to meet the project completion schedule;
• Supervise and coordinate Axiom Builder's quality control team members to perform caulking, silicone, drywall repairs, install and remove finish protection, cleaning, and any associated interior finish construction work as required;
• Manage and scheduling of Owner/Client deficiency inspections and subsequent repairs required with the construction team to meet the project quality standards;
• Assist with general labor duties, such as the cleaning and organization of materials.

Skills And Requirements

• Previous experience and general knowledge/understanding of high-rise construction process and finishing quality and sequence;
• Proven ability to leading a site-based construction team;
• Strong communication and organizational skills to direct and instruct technicians and trade partners;
• Experienced with reading and comprehending construction drawings and understanding construction finishing practices is required;
• Microsoft suite of productivity software proficiency is preferred. Procore is an asset;
• Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with supervisors and trade partners fluently.
