Part-Time Groundskeeper / Property Maintenance

Residential Home – Ash, NC

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Groundskeeper to help maintain the exterior of a private residential property in Ash, North Carolina. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping a property neat, clean, weed-free, and well cared for.

Schedule

Part-time, flexible schedule
Work must be completed Monday through Friday only, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Exact days and hours can be discussed based on property needs and applicant availability.

Responsibilities Include

The Groundskeeper will be responsible for general outdoor maintenance, including but not limited to:

• Lawn care, including mowing, edging, trimming, and general upkeep
• Weed control, including spraying weeds with provided products such as Roundup or similar weed-control treatments
• Leaf blowing and removal of yard debris
• Garden care, including watering, weeding, pruning, and general tidying
• Pest control around the property, including treatment for ants and other common outdoor pests
• Pool maintenance and basic pool-area upkeep
• Keeping walkways, driveways, patios, and outdoor areas clean and presentable
• Notifying the homeowner of any maintenance concerns, damage, or issues noticed on the property
• Performing other general groundskeeping tasks as needed to keep the property looking nice and well maintained

Tools & Supplies

All tools, equipment, and supplies will be provided.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

• Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to work independently and follow instructions
• Detail-oriented and proactive about keeping the property clean and attractive
• Experienced with lawn care, weed control, pest control, garden care, or general property maintenance
• Able to safely use lawn equipment, yard tools, and provided outdoor maintenance products according to instructions

Requirements

• Prior groundskeeping, landscaping, lawn care, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical outdoor work
• Reliable transportation to Ash, NC
• Must be available during weekday daytime hours, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM

Compensation

Pay is negotiable based on experience.
