Axia Women's Health is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Pelvic Floor Therapist to join our team and provide comprehensive pelvic health therapy full time in New Jersey. • Direct Collaboration with OB/GYN physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives and other women's health specialists.
• Ability to participate in comprehensive treatment plans for patients dealing with pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, prolapse, incontinence, endometriosis, and sexual health concerns.

The Pelvic Floor Specialist works on-site in collaboration with our provider team and performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal/postpartum musculoskeletal complaints, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sexual pain disorders.

Skills:

• Knowledge of obstetric conditions and pelvic anatomy.
• Expertise in both external and internal pelvic floor assessments/treatments.
• Familiarity with prenatal and postpartum exercise protocols and birth recovery practices.
• Comfortable discussing sensitive topics related to sexual and reproductive health.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly around delicate or personal issues.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care philosophy.
• Ability to educate and empower patients through their recovery and wellness journey.

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• NJ PT License
• Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and/or Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through Herman & Wallace preferred.
• Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy in Pelvic Health (CAPP) and/or Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy in Obstetric Health (CAPP-OB) through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience working in women’s health/pelvic health.
• Prior experience in OB/GYN or similar clinical setting

• The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
