Role Description
Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational safety of marine and offshore elevator systems onboard vessels, FPSOs, and offshore installations. Ensure elevators operate in full compliance with maritime, offshore, and Oil & Gas safety regulations and technical standards.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose safety circuit and controller faults, and restore elevator service under demanding offshore conditions. Conduct detailed technical inspections, identify safety-critical findings, and prepare clear inspection and maintenance reports.
Work closely with offshore teams, marine crew, and other technicians, providing technical guidance and on-site support. Support training and knowledge transfer to technicians and crew, while maintaining a strong focus on HSEQ requirements and safe work practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with marine and offshore elevator systems onboard vessels, FPSOs, and offshore installations
Strong knowledge of elevator inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety circuits in maritime and Oil & Gas environments
Experience working under maritime, offshore, and HSEQ safety standards
Ability to operate effectively in offshore conditions, including confined spaces, height work, and rotation schedules
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify safety-critical findings and implement corrective actions
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to restore elevator operation after faults or shutdowns
Experience preparing technical reports, inspection findings, and maintenance documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary offshore team
Experience providing on-site technical support and training to technicians or crew
Relevant technical certifications in elevators, marine operations, or Oil & Gas (offshore safety certifications are an advantage)
