Job Summary
This position is responsible for the cost-efficient procurement of goods and services across the enterprise. The role involves RFP development, negotiation, selection, and execution of contracts and SOWs covering a wide variety of commodities and services.
Responsibilities- Proactively engage with Business Partners/clients to develop and coordinate Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information.
- Work with internal clients to ensure compliance with procurement processes and policies, assisting with accurate completion of internal requisite Intake-Form.
- Perform competitive assessments of the marketplace, benchmarking quality, price, and potential contracting risks; obtain proposals/quotes, conduct cost analysis, assess market risk, and collaborate with business partners to select the best qualified supplier.
- Negotiate contract terms and partner with internal clients to ensure proper SOW development, including clarity of scope and alignment of payment schedules with defined milestones or deliverables.
- Assist the Category Sourcing Manager with other duties and special projects.
- Maintain quarterly savings reports.
- Maintain contact with suppliers through meetings and site visits.
- Generate queries and reports from the procurement system for internal customers as requested.
- Pursue project cost savings contributing to the organization’s overall objectives.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7 years’ experience in IT Sourcing, including SaaS, Cloud, and Platform sourcing.
- Experience procuring IT Security software is a plus.
- Experience negotiating Statements of Work, order forms, including Service Level Agreements, deliverables, and payment terms.
- Additional licensing, certifications, registrations a plus; e.g., Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
- IT experience with SOWs is required.
- Familiarity with strategic/proactive competitive procurement procedures and processes.
- Working knowledge of Workday and Workday Strategic Sourcing Module.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.

- Excellent procurement consulting skills to assist clients with business and project requirements definition.
