About this Role:
The Compliance Specialist will contribute to the growth and success of the company by ensuring that operations remain ethical, legal, and aligned with industry standards.
The Compliance Specialist supports the SVP of Compliance and serves in an advisory role within the business.
Role Responsibilities:
· Respond to consumer disputes timely and in accordance with FDCPA guidelines.
· Perform compliance monitoring, including but not limited to call monitoring, reviewing consumer-facing communications, and exception reporting.
Education and Experience:
· At least two years’ experience in a compliance role related to financial services, OR two years of experience in third party collections.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
· Working knowledge of debt collection practices and regulations (FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, SCRA, CFPB expectations).
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
