Summary
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Axcess. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in various industrial settings. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing top-notch service while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications.
- Perform repairs on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and lifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- OSHA certified with the skills to assess, implement and train others in safety guidelines as required by OSHA, Axcess Industries and the client.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including long-distance and overnight stays.
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- We are a drug-free workplace. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Live within driving distance of our headquarters in Fleetwood, PA.
