What You'll Do
- Install, set, align, and repair industrial machinery and conveyor systems.
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment.
- Assist with machinery installations, equipment relocations, and startup projects.
- Fit piping for welders and install threaded and plastic piping systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Follow OSHA, customer, and Axcess Industries safety standards on every job.
- Work independently and as part of a skilled industrial team to deliver quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar industrial mechanical role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with conveyors, rotating equipment, and industrial machinery.
- Ability to fit pipe for welding (welding experience is a plus but not required).
- Experience installing threaded piping and plastic piping systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Axcess Industries is a drug-free workplace.
