What you’ll be doing:
As a Senior Compliance Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining AXA’s reputation for excellence. You'll work closely with business teams to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs that protect the company and its customers. Your work will help shape a culture of integrity, guiding the company through complex regulatory landscapes in the U.S. and Canada.
Your main missions include:
- Supporting and executing compliance programs aligned with local and international regulations
- Conducting risk assessments and monitoring regulatory changes to ensure ongoing adherence
- Developing and delivering training to empower teams with compliance knowledge
- Designing and maintaining controls to prevent financial crime, sanctions violations, and unethical conduct
- Reviewing marketing materials, contracts, and digital content for legal and regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop new insurance products and ensure licensing requirements are met
- Investigating compliance breaches and supporting corrective actions
- Acting as a key point of contact between local teams and central compliance functions
- Participating in risk committees and internal audits to uphold compliance standards.
What you'll bring:
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of compliance and regulatory experience, preferably within insurance or financial services.
Regulatory Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of laws such as OFAC sanctions, GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, and related industry standards.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communicator, able to explain complex issues clearly and influence stakeholders
- Self-starter with initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ethical judgment and integrity are essential
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with GRC platforms and data analysis tools is a plus
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
- Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, train teams, and build relationships across departments.

- Salary range: USD82,170-110,000
