Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong and visible security presence throughout the retail store
- Observe and report all unusual or suspicious activity
- Assist with loss prevention by monitoring the sales floor and store entrances
- Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with customers, employees, and vendors
- Follow all AX9 Security and store-specific policies and protocols
- Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Respond professionally to any disturbances or emergencies
- Maintain a polished, professional demeanor and uniform appearance
- Communicate effectively with the on-site team, supervisors, and account managers
- Must possess an active and updated NYS Guard Card
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to stand for long periods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous retail security or loss prevention experience is a plus
- Must maintain a police-style professional appearance (white polo uniform)
- Must follow site protocols and remain attentive during entire shift
- Ability to remain calm and collected in high-traffic retail environments
- Must have reliable transportation to Garden City, NY
