We are currently looking for experienced under cover LP agents in the city of San Ysidro, the following are the requirements for consideration.
- Must have 2 years experience in the field
- valid guard card
- reliable transportation
- able to walk for long periods of time
- Teck savvy
- Good report writing skills
Pay will be biweekly and starting at 18 an hour with a dollar increase after 3,6,9 months of employment
Job Summary:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
Work as an undercover agent to prevent theft
Detect and observe potential shoplifters
Conduct apprehensions and recoveries as described in post orders
Document incidents, report emergencies and contact appropriate authorities
Utilize smartphone or tablet to maintain daily electronic reports
Work closely with local law enforcement and provide detailed statements on theft cases
Must possess a valid Guard Card
Must have reliable method for transportation
Must possess exceptional customer service skills
CCTV and knowledge of 6-step process of loss prevention
Must have knowledge of theft prevention, conflict resolution, and de-escalation methods
Excellent report writing skills
Must be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs
Must be punctual
Previous loss prevention experience is preferred
This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending, and lifting. A portion of some positions may require sitting in front of a computer or monitor for periods of time.
