Security Officer (Armed) – AX9 Security
Full-Time/Part-Time | Starting at $30.00/hr. | 40-Hours per Week
AX9 Security is seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets in a professional, high-end environment. This role combines strong security awareness with exceptional customer service. Officers maintain a visible presence, deter unauthorized activity, and ensure all security protocols are followed while representing AX9 with professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a professional security presence to deter theft and unauthorized activity
- Conduct patrols and monitor facilities using observation and security systems
- Identify potential risks and respond to alarms or incidents
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Document incidents, maintain logs, and complete security reports
- Assist with facility opening/closing and equipment checks
- Work closely with team members to maintain a safe environment
- Valid Concealed Carry Permit (CCW) required
- NYS Armed Security License Required
- Must be able to work weekends
- 5 years of law enforcement or luxury retail security experience preferred
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass extensive background checks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Comfortable working in professional, client-facing environments
- Solid computer and reporting skills
- Flexible availability for shifts as needed
