Davis Waldorf School is seeking a dedicated 3rd Grade Class Teacher to join our faculty. Essential Job Duties
- Plan daily, weekly, and block rhythms of the year in alignment with Waldorf pedagogy and the needs of the class.
- Deepen understanding of Anthroposophy and child development through ongoing study and professional growth.
- Build a healthy class community and develop strong, authentic relationships with families.
- Participate in weekly grades section meetings, faculty meetings, and contribute to committee service.
- Incorporate a diversity and social justice framework in curriculum development and classroom practice.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 1–2 years of relevant classroom experience
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, a Waldorf Teacher Training program
- Completed Waldorf Teacher Certification and classroom experience in a Waldorf school
Salary range: $53,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience and education.
