Position Summary
America’s Warrior Partnership (AWP) is seeking a Veteran Support Advocate to serve as the primary point of contact for veterans, family members, and caregivers seeking support through our national coordination platform.
This role provides direct case coordination and crisis management services to Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF).
Preference will be given to veterans and military/veteran spouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage individualized service plans based on holistic assessments
- Coordinate referrals with local and national partners
- Provide consistent follow-up to ensure successful service engagement
- Deliver crisis coordination and support using evidence-based engagement practices
- Maintain accurate documentation in WarriorServe®
- Build strong relationships with veterans and community partners
Required Qualifications
- Experience in case management required
- Experience working with Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF) required
- 2–3 years of experience in case coordination, community engagement, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
Work Environment
9a-5pm EST. First 90 days in office only. Minimum three days in office required after first 90 days.
