Awopaho Litterbox Rentals is a small business in Morgan City, LA.
We are looking for a full-time CDL (Class B) roll-off driver. Starting pay is $21 per hour with an increase after 90 days. Hours are 7 am to 3 pm Monday- Friday, 40 hours guaranteed-NON-OVERTIME position.
Duties:
- Operate and drive Roll- Off Trucks
- Transport dumpsters specified destinations
- Load and unload dumpsters using appropriate safety measures
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate schedules
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B
- Manual shifting experience required
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance tasks
