What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at AWI Management Corporation?
AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to help maintain 2 apartment communities in Reedley and Selma, CA . Experience in general building maintenance and landscape is preferred.
The position is part-time at 40 hours a week.
Starting pay is $23.00 DOE.
Requirements:
Reliable Transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
Access to a personal smartphone with email, messaging and app functionality. Usage will be reimbursed.
Qualifications / Skills:
Good communication skills
Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
Strong organizational skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful
General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
General grounds keeping skills
Ability to manage emergency situations
Professionalism
Listening
Responsibilities:
Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
Report violations of lease and house rules
Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being met
Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
Perform preventative maintenance duties
Maintaining excellent curb appeal
Follow policies and procedures
