AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to help maintain an apartment community in Visalia, CA. Experience in general building maintenance and landscape is preferred.

Position is full-time; 40 hours and pay is $19.00 - $20.00/hour DOE
Requirements:
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- Authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications / Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
- Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful
- General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- General grounds keeping skills
- Ability to manage emergency situations
- Professionalism
- Listening
Responsibilities:
- Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
- Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
- Report violations of lease and house rules
- Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
- Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
- Perform preventative maintenance duties
- Maintaining excellent curb appeal
- Follow policies and procedures
