Our Auto-Wares Inc. Corporate Office in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Full-Time Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A position.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Oversee the creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
- Perform comprehensive financial analyses, including variance, trend, and financial modeling.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to senior management based on performance metrics and KPIs.
- Financial Reporting and Presentations:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Present financial insights and key findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop executive-level presentations and dashboards to effectively communicate financial performance and trends.
- Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning.
- Assess the financial implications of proposed projects, initiatives, and acquisitions.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Budget Management and Cost Control:
- Monitor budget performance, tracking actual results against targets.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
- Partner with department heads to create accurate budget forecasts and provide variance explanations.
- Financial Forecasting and Trend Analysis:
- Project future financial performance using historical data, market trends, and business drivers.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, and key financial metrics to identify patterns and potential risks.
- Ad-Hoc Financial Projects:
- Lead special financial initiatives as assigned by management.
- Conduct financial research, due diligence, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior management.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
