Project Manager & Estimating Coordinator
This position is for full time employment as a project manager and estimating coordinator. Your employment woud include (10) paid vacation days, membership in the optional AWG healthcare plan after (30) days of employment and in the AWG Simple IRA retirement plan after (45) days of employment. This position will be salary and based on a 40 hour work week. Time spent in the office for project manager and estimator activities will be conducted at either the AWG home office or in your home as a work from home arrangement. You will be issued an AWG email address and will be required to adhere to our non compete agreement and cyber usage policy.
Base Pay Rate: $TBD
This position will require overseeing all project management aspects of a sitework project from pre-construction planning to completion, ensuring the work is executed on time, within budget, and according to the project specifications, while managing crews, subcontractors, and coordinating with clients to deliver quality earthwork and site work activities on construction projects. Key responsibilities include project estimating, cost tracking and cost forecasting, scheduling, safety oversight, quality control, managing equipment, and resolving any issues that may arise during construction. Project sizes will vary from $20,000.00 to $1,500,000.00 on average.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Assist executive staff in development and management of cost tracking procedure. Assist executive staff in integration of new project management and estimating software. Assist executive staff in cost projections and forecasting as well as cash flow management.
Develop and process client invoicing and change orders. Attend project coordination meetings onsite.
Estimating Coordinator:
Primary officer in charge of assembling project estimates. Coordinate with earthwork take off resources and outsource estimators to develop project estimates. Solicit pricing from vendors and suppliers.
