What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Maintenance Technician (Handyman) – Vacation Rental Homes position at Away2PA?
Away2PA is a growing short-term rental company with 10 vacation homes across Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg and Henryville, PA. With a few new homes currently being built, we're adding an experienced full-time Maintenance Technician to our existing maintenance crew to help keep our homes in top shape for guests.
What you'll do
- Repair drywall holes, dents and other cosmetic damage
- Assemble and repair furniture, bed frames, couches and doors
- Fix plumbing leaks and replace fixtures, locks, lights and hardware
- Troubleshoot no hot water, heating and basic electrical issues
- Help with upkeep of pools, hot tubs, saunas and outdoor areas (fire pits, game courts)
- Do preventative maintenance and catch problems before guests do
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience in plumbing, drywall, carpentry and general home maintenance
- Basic electrical troubleshooting is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Dependable, punctual, organized and able to work independently
Pay: Starting at $30 per hour, with room to grow. Full-time, paid by check.
