We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing pest control services, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients while effectively addressing pest-related issues. This role requires a combination of technical skills, customer service abilities, and a strong understanding of pest management practices.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and potential risks.
- Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client's needs.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and client communications.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and the importance of regular maintenance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for various pest control tasks.
- Drive to various job sites safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws.
Skills
- Proven experience in pest control or related fields such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable.
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service benefits and upsell additional treatments when appropriate.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery relevant to pest control operations.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record to ensure safe transportation between job sites.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to accurately assess pest issues and implement solutions.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
